My Hero Academia Season 5 is coming, and the franchise has been dropping new teasers to excite the fans more. Thankfully, the premiere episode will finally drop, though it's far from what fans expect--the action will not begin yet.
The first episode of My Hero Academia Season 5 is dubbed Episode 0 instead of Episode 1. Why? It's because it will mostly feature a recap of what happened in the fourth season.
According to BlockToro, the new season's premiere episode will be a special recap episode that will make sure fans are all caught up to the series' storyline. It's maybe also why there's no specific preview for the so-called Episode 0, though there are many trailers and teasers for the whole season.
Here, fans are about to see a quick summary of the events from the previous episodes. Comicbook noted My Hero Academia Season 5 would be featuring some of the most intense arcs in the manga so far. The franchise's website announced a new update coming about the series from the upcoming Anime Japan.
The anime is set to have its own panel at the said event, which will occur on March 27 to 28 in Tokyo. For the first time, it will be online this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so even the international audience can join the livestream with an English caption.
Fans may get some updates about the arcs the new season will adapt, along with the introduction of the Paranormal Liberation Army. There will be a significant change with this powerful villain association's arrival, though Class 1-A and Class 1-B have to do their joint training mission first.

Ahead of the event, Twitter user Atsushi 101X posted a new My Hero Academia Season 5 short trailer featuring Class 1-A and Class 1-B's female heroes. Fans will get a glimpse of their training exercises that will push their Quirks to the limit as they continue their journey to be the best crime fighters.
Anyhow, the new season's second half is said to be different from its first part as the story will focus on Shigaraki. He will try his best to attain more power to continue his reign over the League of Villains.
There will be a lot of intense turn of events when My Hero Academia Season 5 finally begins on Saturday, March 27.
