Anime lovers have a new isekai anime to watch out for with I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level or Slimes 300. The light-hearted fantasy series will introduce viewers to Azusa, an immortal witch who used to be an ordinary working woman in Japan.
Slimes 300 is everything that you'd expect it to be. It will feature a person from Earth who will be sent to the parallel universe to start a new adventurous life.
According to Epic Dope, the new series has dropped a total of four key visuals to excite fans of what it has to offer. It shows Azusa's new life in the isekai world after her human body dies of exhaustion.
It also introduces other characters that Azusa will be with, like Laika, Halkara, Shalsha, Falfa, Beelzebub, and Flatorte. The official trailer, on the other hand, reveals Azusa's past life as a hard-working employee.
After she dies because of overworking, she decides to live a new life in a very relaxing way--opposite of how she used to live. She only does the bare minimum to survive, but things will start going south after living for 300 years in Slimes 300. Her life of simplicity and solitude is about to change after she meets her new family.
These roles will be played by the CD adaptation's original members, Anime News Network. Aoi Yuki will reprise her role as Azusa, Kaedo Hondo as Laika, Saya Senbongi as Falfa, Minami Tanaka as Shalsa, Sayaka Harada as Halkara, Manami Numakura as Beelzebub, Azumi Waki as Fratorte, and Riho Sugiyama as Rosary.
Slimes 300 is originally a light novel series written by Kisetsu Morita and illustrated by Benio. It started serializing on the Shosetsuka ni Waro website in June 2016, while its manga adaptation debuted on Square Enix's Gangan Online website in June 2017.
The light novel's official synopsis reveals Azusa will find herself reincarnated as a non-aging and undying witch in a new, unfamiliar world, per Crunchyroll. After living an exhausting life on Earth, she now spends her time without the stress and as pleasant as possible.
She only kills slimes to earn, and it's as easy as 1-2-3. However, after doing this thing for centuries, she gains incredible ability and power. Now, how will she maintain a low-key life with her newfound skill?
Fans will soon meet Azusa when Slimes 300 finally hits the small screens on Saturday, April 10, at 9 p.m. on AT-X in Japan. It can also be seen on TV Tokyo/BS11.
