Seobok is an upcoming sci-fi movie starring Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum. The South Korean film follows an ex-intelligence member who's on a mission to ensure the safe transportation of the world's first human clone. The latter becomes the target of many forces who want to steal the clone for themselves.

New posters featuring the main characters of Seobok have been unveiled. Gong Yoo is set to play the role of the former intelligence agent Ki Heon. In the image, the character can be seen pointing his gun at someone, potentially at those who are coming after the clone.

Park Bo Gum will be playing the titular clone, Seobok. His poster shows him inside the laboratory with a blank expression, with his quote saying: "I don't have anywhere to go." The image also suggests that he's being kept in a space where no one would see him.

Jo Woo Jin plays Director Ahn and he is determined to hide the truth about the existence of the first human clone. He does not want to reveal it to the public as everything is over if people find out about it. It looks like the character is willing to do whatever it takes just to bury this secret forever.

Jang Young Nam will be Im Se Eun, the lead researcher who created the titular clone. She's been with Seobok since the beginning, witnessing his birth and growth. The poster shows her telling Ki Heon that people have a lot of fear and have a lot of greed, too.

Park Byung Eun is the CEO of Seoin Group, Shin Hak Seon, who is also the owner of the titular clone. Just like the others, he'll do everything just to protect what's his. He knows that the clone is an immortal being and wants to keep it for himself.

Meanwhile, the project was first announced back in January 2017. At the time, it was revealed that Lee Yong Ju will serve as the director and will write the screenplay, as well. Originally, the film was scheduled for a December 2020 premiere but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Later on, it was confirmed that Seobok will be released in theaters in Korea on Thursday, April 15, and will also be available on Korean streaming platform TVing. Reportedly, it is the first Korean big-budget film released at the same time in theaters and in media service.
