WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for the premiere of Manifest season 3. Read at your own risk.

Manifest season 3 episode 2 further hypes up the question of whether the passengers of Flight 828 were alive or already dead and just resurrected. The premiere, titled "Tailfin," provided some answers but also bring a new set of mysteries that needed to be solved.

Manifest season 3 episode 2 comes with the title "Deadhead" and it will pick up what transpired in episode 1. Ben Stone (Josh Dallas) comes up with a new theory and started to question their existence. He thinks that all of them died in a plane crash and they were resurrected at some point.

The premiere saw Ben investigating the tailfin, a part of the plane found in the ocean in the season 2 finale. The discovery of this item led to more mysteries, including how it ended in the ocean given that the plane landed on the ground during the first installment.

In episode 1, Ben teamed up with Robert Vance (Dary Edwards) and they went on an international mission to uncover the truth. After finding several clues, he believes that the presence of tailfin in the middle of the ocean means that the plane crashed in the water, resulting in everyone's death.

Ben told his sister, Michaela Stone (Melissa Roxburgh), about his new theory, wherein the plane was put back and the passengers were resurrected. This was further supported by another clue when he found out that one of the drowned meth addicts at the end of season 2 suddenly wakes up.

In Manifest season 3 episode 2, Ben and Michaela will continue to seek answers about their existence. Clearly, there is something bigger behind all of this and they must uncover the truth. Yet, they know that doing this means more problems coming in their way.

But, while the evidence they found seems solid, there could be another twist later on. Resurrecting the passengers is possible, but others speculated that they were replaced by imposters and their memories were transferred to them. Yet, this is something that needs more concrete proof.

Meanwhile, the synopsis of Manifest season 3 episode 2 notes that the Stone family will be facing another threat. This leads to Michaela's commitment being tested, while Grace (Athena Karkanis) was forced to make a difficult decision.

Ben, on the other hand, will be working with an old rival to save an old friend. While the family deals with their problems, Olive (Luna Blaise) goes on a journey with her new friend. The two will try to solve a calling that could unearth a startling connection.

Manifest season 3 episode 2 airs on Thursday, April 8, on NBC.
