A new trailer of Manifest season 3 was unveiled recently. Siblings Ben Stone (Josh Dallas) and Michaela Stone (Melissa Roxburgh) continue to investigate the mysteries surrounding the Montego Air Flight 828. The end of the second installment further raises questions about their existence and other passengers.

Manifest season 3 brings more mysteries that needed to be solved after a piece of the plane was found in the middle of the sea in the season 2 finale. As seen in the trailer, Ben checked the tail fin and felt a strong connection with it the moment that he touched it.

The biggest question, however, is how the debris ended up in the ocean given that they all landed alive in the dry land. It also raises questions regarding their existence -- or whether they're actually dead. This is going to be one of the major focuses when the series returns.

At the end of the trailer, Robert Vance (Daryl Edwards) brought Ben and Saanvi Bahl (Parveen Kaur) to a place called "Eureka." The two were shocked when they saw the plane wreckage being stored, which is an additional mystery to their list.

The poster of Manifest season 3 also hinted at the plane revelation as it teases "the truth will surface." Another poster featured the same message alongside the main characters. In an interview with TVLine, showrunner Jeff Rake discussed what lies ahead in the story.

While there will be a lot of revelations coming, Rake made it clear that not everything will be given an answer. Still, he promised that the next installment will have a lot of "forward momentum," "card turns," as well "big surprises."

Meanwhile, new characters will also show up in Manifest season 3. For instance, Holly Taylor plays Angelina, a passenger of Flight 828. She was briefly teased in the trailer and she's going to have an important role in exploring some of the mysteries about the plane.

Warner Miller portrays Tarik, the estranged brother of Grace Stone (Athena Karkanis), Ben's wife. He'll be spending time with the Stone family when they have nowhere else to run. Will Peltz plays Levi, who will have a connection to Olive Stone (Luna Blaise), Ben and Grace's daughter.

Mahira Kakkar will be Dr. Aria Gupta, a researcher working on the inexplicable phenomena in Flight 828 and thinks Ben as a valuable source of biological information. Ali Lopez-Sohaili will be Eagan Tehrani, another passenger from the plane.

Manifest season 3 premieres on Thursday, April 1, on NBC.
