Boruto Chapter 57 may finally reveal the mystery behind the scar on Boruto's eye. This may have something to do with his battle against Isshiki that the Five Kage will soon learn.

The previous chapter already set the stage for Boruto Chapter 57 after it features a flash-forward scene. Now, the new installment may only reveal how these things happen and the reasons behind it.

According to BlockToro, the new chapter may reveal why Boruto will leave the Konoha village in the future. It may also touch on the mystery surrounding Kawaki's decision to destroy the Kage mountain and have a brawl with Boruto.

Reddit user u/SergeantJMZ claimed the Five Kage would learn everything that happened in Boruto's battle against Isshiki. Naruto and Sasuke have exhausted almost all of their powers in this fight, making them useless if a future brawl ensues in the Konoha village.

Momoshiki also overtook Boruto's body and attacked Sasuke, which might also mean that he's unstable and could be a danger to the Leaf village people. For these reasons, the Kage will want to kill Boruto in Boruto Chapter 57 that may leave a slash in his right eye, causing his trademark scar, to save everyone from his threat.

In addition, there will be a new antagonist coming to the series who will be far stronger than Jigen, TV Season Spoilers noted. Kawaki and Boruto will be dealing with the aftermath of their recent fight.

The Kara organization will now reveal its members after the death of their former leader, Jigen. Now that fans have an idea of Code's actual ability, they will get to see his true power, along with the cyborgs, in the next chapter forward.

Boruto Chapter 57 will establish the foundation of the upcoming ninja war. Here, it will be Code's mission to fulfill Isshiki's will.

Knowing he's much powerful than Jigen, he will be a significant threat to everyone, especially to Boruto. After Boro saved Eida, they will now use her as their most powerful cyborg.

Fans are about to witness all these and more in the release of Boruto Chapter 57 on Tuesday, April 20, per Devdiscourse. Its raw scans, on the other hand, may drop two to three days before its official release date comes.

Fans are advised only to read the manga from its official sources to support its creators and people who work behind the scenes.
