Abigail Baker (Abigail Hawk) finds herself in a dire situation in the upcoming Blue Bloods season 11 episode 12. She was assaulted on the street and Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) won't let this incident pass just like that. He's going to do everything he can to find who did it and why they did it.
In the promo of Blue Bloods season 11 episode 12, Baker can be seen walking on the way home and was suddenly attacked by someone. It wasn't entirely clear whether this is a planned assault or just a random attack. It also looks like she wanted to be part of the investigation to seek justice.
This is a chance to see more of Baker doing her job out in the field and working alongside Garret Moore (Gregory Jbara). However, the biggest problem is that the case is too personal for her and it could cause some conflicts for Frank and the rest of the department.
To avoid further problems, Garrett may keep Baker away from the case -- given that she's too invested working on it. Frank also assured her that they've got her covered and they'll do whatever is necessary to find the person who assaulted her.
Some preview photos of Blue Bloods season 11 episode 12 also showed the extent of Baker's injuries. She was hospitalized due to the injuries she sustained, but it appears as though they aren't life-threatening. She won't be staying in the hospital for too long as she looks determined to handle the case.
Elsewhere, tensions between Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) and his wife Eddie (Vanessa Ray) arise. As the synopsis notes, the latter wonders if she's being too stubborn after undermining her husband's decision at work. Clearly, this could lead to a serious conflict between the two.
Yet, this isn't the first time Jamie and Eddie faced problems involving their jobs and personal life. While they could have some disagreements at first, the couple could come up with a decision and settle things between them. There'll be a lot of conversation and they will agree on certain things in the end.
Meanwhile, Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan) will have her own storyline in Blue Bloods season 11 episode 12, as well. Her ex-husband, Jack Boyle (Peter Hermann), is coming back at her request. She asked him if he could represent that defendant she's executing.
