Zombie Land Saga Season 2 has officially begun, dropping two episodes so far. As fans are now waiting for Episode 3, the anime has treated them with the release of its official opening theme.
Zombie Land Saga Season 2 has now dropped its opening song, along with Episode 2's release. Fans can now enjoy the series fully with the intense turn of events, accompanied by a perfect track that goes with it.
According to Comicbook, the opening theme is titled "O Saga, Cry with Me" by the series' group idol Franchouchou. Just like other anime shows, the new season started without an opening theme.
The new season is now streaming on Crunchyroll, alongside its release in Japan. Funimation, on the other hand, confirmed its English dubbed version's release at a later date.
Zombie Land Saga Season 2 features the same set of cast and staff members from the first season. Munehisa Saka also returns to the directorial seat for MAPPA and Avex Pictures.
In the recent second episode, Koutarou set the girls' appearance on a TV show, along with the famed Saga entertainer, White Ryu. The latter's music and worlds had a great effect on Saki's life, The Cinemaholic noted.
She said he was the reason why she became an idol, so she spent the whole day at Yutoku Inari Shrine to be with him. This event held an unforgettable moment in Saki's life. She even visited Ryu on his radio station to persuade him to continue the show after hearing he wanted to leave.
Ryu offered her to replace him instead as the show's new host. From here, he started to travel around the world to spread the word about Saga and let people know about it.
Saki then couldn't help but reveal her feelings for him. However, Ryu told him to call him instead when she got a little older due to their age difference.
Saki broke down crying, thinking she would never grow old and never had a chance to be with Ryu. So in Zombie Land Saga Season 2 Episode 3, Saki may feel desperate to find a new love and deal with the truth that she will never age.
The new episode will bear the title "The Acoustic SAGA of Love and Youth" and will be out on Thursday, April 22, for premium Crunchyroll and Funimation subscribers, per Epic Stream. Free users have to wait for a week before seeing the next installment releasing on April 29.
