When Calls the Heart season 8 episode 11 is going to be the penultimate of the romantic family drama. A lot of stories might be resolved here, including Elizabeth's (Erin Krakow) complicated love life. This has been a major part of the series and it remains uncertain where her heart really lies.
When Calls the Heart season 8 episode 11 is titled "Changing Times," which is a clear indication that there would be changes to several characters. For Elizabeth, there's still a question on who she likes as Nathan (Kevin McGarry) and Lucas (Chris McNally) continue to vie for her attention.
Since the series finale is approaching, Elizabeth might be making a huge decision when it comes to this matter. While she made it clear she does not want to be in a relationship after her husband's, Jack (Daniel Lissing), death, Nathan and Lucas don't easily give up.
Over the past few episodes, things get even more complicated when Elizabeth found out that Nathan played an indirect part in her husband's death. She, then, turned to Lucas and the two became even closer. This is something that could play out before the current installment concludes.

Meanwhile, Carson (Paul Greene) and Faith's (Andrea Brooks) relationship is further put to an ultimate test in When Calls the Heart season 8 episode 11. The couple has already made a lot of big decisions, and now, they must figure out what they want for their career, as well as their relationship.
It looks like Carson is ready to move with his life away from Hope Valley, but Faith seems to be certain about staying in the small town. He accepted the job offer in Baltimore, but the woman he loves chose to continue her career at the infirmary. It's yet to be seen that the future holes for their relationship.
Only one episode is left after this one, which could mean that more stories will be unraveled along the way. For now, however, the series hasn't been officially renewed for season 9. Fans have to wait for a few more weeks following the season 8 finale before the announcement is being made.
