A lot has already happened in the world of K-Pop in the last few decades. With its apparent rise and success today, it is not surprising that there are some instances wherein the idols experienced "weird" and shocking events in their career.

AllKpop released a list, deeming it as some of today's unbelievable facts about a few South Korean celebrities. It even pointed out that most of it may sound "made up" yet, they are actually real.

One of these is Park Jin-Young's audition under SM Entertainment. As reported, the JYP Entertainment founder tried to enter the industry as an SM idol.

However, the agency rejected him "because of his appearance, and regardless of his skills." While SM Entertainment eventually called him to ask for his self-composed materials, JY Park refused and moved on to building his own company.

Another surprising event that happened a few years ago was MAMAMOO's unusual Teletubbies costumes. They attended an awarding ceremony as Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Lala, and Po.

The publication said that it was all because of a "misunderstanding" after the K-Pop idols received a different set of instructions. They were supposed to wear costumes with the theme "Winter Wonderland," and ended up donning the iconic characters.

The outlet continued that the members of VIXX, also, had a heartstopping experience in the past, when they had their show in Kazakhstan. As stated, the all-male K-Pop group was "kidnapped" by the country's President's daughter in order to meet them personally.

It took place on the day the idols were supposed to return from the country. Their bus got, reportedly, "hijacked," adding that they were taken to a secret location, wherein their managers and bodyguards were prohibited to enter.

Koreaboo released its own list, as well, of some unpopular facts about K-Pop idols and celebrities. It includes mostly audition stories of some artists, like Taeyong and Lucas of NCT and Soobin of TXT.

Soobin did not, reportedly, receive a call back from Big Hit after his application. He thought he did not make the cut but, it was later revealed that he gave the label the wrong number.

Meanwhile, Taeyong of NCT is said to have auditioned because the recruiter gave him a piece of bread. Despite not having any exceptional skills, he passed the recruitment.

As for Lucas, the publication said that he only did three poses during his audition. Afterward, SM Entertainment immediately accepted him.

Another K-Pop idol, whose life events have seemingly surprised her fans, is Yura. Kpop Map claimed that what was "weird" about her is that she had her legs insured at approximately $450,000 because they are "perfect."
