Suzy recently took part in the May 2021 issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine, where she did a pictorial with Dior. During the interview, the South Korean actress was asked what collaboration she'd like to do with the fashion company in the future.
Suzy said that she wants to design a Dior bag with an illustration personally drawn by her. She revealed that she already drew the design and it would be meaningful for her if that becomes reality. She also shared that she likes to draw during her free time, as well as drawing digitally.
When asked how she's enjoying her break after tvN's Start-Up ended, the actress said she's "resting well without any concerns for the first time since her debut." As for where she spends most of her time, she revealed that she often stays at home and becomes interested in cleaning and organizing recently.
The actress added that she's the type of person who could not stand having free time before. She felt like she needs to keep working and felt anxious whenever she has the chance to rest. But, now, she realized that taking a break means "taking the time to prepare for the next step."
In terms of her singing career, Suzy talked about "Oh, Lover," her self-composed song that she produced while practicing guitar chords by herself. She explained that she tends to write lyrics and attach a melody to them. Yet, the song that she wrote was "made in the opposite way."
She also shared that before she started receiving official lessons, watching YouTube videos helped her learn to play the electric guitar. As for whether she's planning to release a full album, she answered: "I'm collecting practice pieces bit by bit, and I'll release them through an album once they've piled up."
Talking about her recent projects, Suzy said she felt she'd grown more in Start-Up while her upcoming movie, Wonderland, was enjoyable to film. When it comes to her projects in the past, the actress said she doesn't "purposefully look for them."
As for what else she wants to do during this season, the actress revealed she wanted to go walking and enjoy beautiful sceneries. She added that she likes to walk silently and not being "caught up in the pace changes" around her. She wants to focus more on what she likes, as well as her inner self.
Meanwhile, Suzy will, once again, be the host of the upcoming 57th Baeksang Arts Awards. This is the sixth time the actress hosting the event and this will be her fifth time working with her co-host Shin Dong Yup, who's been the MC for three consecutive years before taking a break back in 2017.
