Judge Lola Carmichael (Simone Missick) will be put in a very tough situation in the upcoming All Rise season 2 episode 14. This time, the major problem that she's about to face involves someone whom she really adores. Here is what viewers can anticipate in next week's outing, "Caught Up in Circles."

In All Rise season 2 episode 14, Lola faces trouble when the person she looks up to becomes involved in a trial she's currently handling. This is going to be tough for her, especially since she believed that this person is someone who is just -- but it may turn out to be the other way around.

As the synopsis of All Rise season 2 episode 14 notes, Lola becomes conflicted when former Judge Prudence Jenkins (Charlayne Woodard) -- the woman whom she idolized -- was accused of bribery and she's representing herself in a bench trial.

Lola's biggest challenge here is making sure that she will deliver the right verdict in the end. Although she idolized Judge Prudence Jenkins, she also knows that she must do her job properly. She needs to weigh all the evidence presented to her and her judgment shouldn't be clouded in any way.

However, some parts of the trial might be difficult for her, given that she viewed Judge Prudence Jenkins from a different perspective. It might be hard for her to believe that the woman whom she idolized has been accused of bribery. This is something that will test her not only professionally, but also personally.

As for what else viewers can expect in All Rise season 2 episode 14, Mark Callan (Wilson Bethel) has decided to move forward with the case against Wayne McCarthy (Louis Herthum). At the same time, he and Corrine Cuthbert (Anne Heche) each receive one unchallenged request for a new judge.

The current installment of the legal drama is nearing its conclusion and some of the storylines may continue to progress until the season finale. For now, however, the future of the series remains uncertain as CBS has not officially renewed or canceled the show for a third season.

The legal drama centers on the professional lives of judges, prosecutors, and public defenders as they handle tough cases in a Los Angeles courthouse. The series is created by Greg Spottiswood and it is based on Courtroom 302 by Steve Bogira.

All Rise season 2 episode 14 will be airing this coming Monday, May 3, on CBS.
