There are still uncertainties when it comes to All Rise season 2 as CBS hasn't yet officially announced the renewal status of the series. But, there's hope when it comes to its future, as it seems like the network is fond of the show even though there's a concern in terms of ratings.

CarterMatt noted that although Simone Missick-led legal drama doesn't show major rating success, it remains solid over the past few weeks. The ratings right now are even to where the series was at the start of the season, which is rare for a freshman show. This hints at the likelihood of All Rise season 2.

There is also a virtual episode coming on Monday night, May 4, and this is likely a sign CBS wants more of the series. This episode wasn't originally planned, so it gives hope to All Rise season 2. In an interview with TVLine, co-showrunner Greg Spotisswood has something to say about this matter.

He said there are a lot of people on the side of the network who have genuine love and affection for the show, characters, as well as what they're trying to do. The virtual episode proved to be challenging, but CBS allowed them to do such a thing.

According to Spotisswood, if the people over the network didn't like the show at all, they would not have allowed them to do the experimental episode. The co-showrunner also admitted that none of them really knew what they were doing at first.

They pitched the episode to CBS with confidence, though everybody knew it's a "roll of the dice." Spotisswood said that the fact the network supported them means there's a certain commitment to the series. This could also translate to a potential All Rise season 2.

But, at the moment, no one knows whether there'll be a second installment or not. The virtual episode shows that the series is flexible and could do more of it in the future. For now, viewers need to wait for a while regarding the official renewal status of All Rise season 2.
