Blue Bloods season 11 episode 14 is going to be the penultimate episode before the police procedural drama airs its two-part season finale. This week's installment comes with the title "The New You," and it'll see most of the Reagan family members dealing with their own problems.
One of the major storylines in the upcoming Blue Bloods season 11 episode 14 revolves around Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg). This character has dealt with a lot of things throughout the series' current installment and it seems like more challenges are coming for him as the season finale approaches.
Danny will clash with an onlooker with a phone, as the latter refused to give the detective his phone. This is where the tension between the two could arise, and it could potentially impact the department. Aside from that, Wahlberg's character also goes on another mission with Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez).
Danny and Baez are set to investigate a murder case, which will lead them to unexpected revelations. Later on, the case that the duo is investigating will uncover the connection to a feud between city-sponsored hotels for the homeless and the local residents.
Elsewhere in Blue Bloods season 11 episode 14, Garrett Moore's (Gregory Jbara) action brings problems to the department and Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck). The former makes some public comments to a local newspaper that inflamed the New York Police Department.
The major problem here is that Garrett refused to retract the quote he gave, leading to more heated discussions involving Frank and the rest of the department. The latter told him to be responsible for everything that he says, but it seems like he does not want to change what's already been done.
Garrett's words potentially impact how the public views the NYPD and this is going to be a handful for Frank. This could bring more issues to everyone, leading to some people trusting the department less. But, Frank may also find a way to convince Garrett to retract his statements.
Meanwhile, Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) and his wife, Eddie Janko-Reagan (Vanessa Ray), also have their own storyline in Blue Bloods season 11 episode 14. The latter will, particularly, convincer her husband to take the quiz that is all about love.
In some of the preview photos, Jamie can be seen giving Eddie a bouquet. The couple often takes on cases, with some putting their life in danger. This time, there will be a lot of conversations about their relationship, as well as their future together.
