Kate Middleton and Prince William went to three different mental health charities in one day to commemorate Mental Health Awareness Week.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Wolverhampton first to talk to young people about their well-being. After sitting down with the kids, Middleton and William also had a game of table tennis at The Way Youth Zone, where the couple displayed their competitiveness.

William joked to the people staying at the safe space that they could sit down and talk among themselves first since their game of ping-pong will take some time to finish. The Duke of Cambridge, however, expressed that his wife was quite good at the sport.

The pair also did a little gardening at the center, where William also praised his wife for being good with plants. He once said that she has taught him the basics of gardening so he could do this activity with his father, Prince Charles.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge then talked to the ambassadors of HeadStart, a mental health program designed to help young people develop resilience. One of the kids at the center told the press that she asked William and Kate Middleton about their new dog. The pair told her that they love to walk the animal with their kids. The duchess also shared with the youngsters how much she loves to be around nature and enjoy outdoor sports activities, as it can help boost a healthy mental well-being.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge then went to Base25, which is a counseling and drop-in center for the youth. Here, the visitors could have access to computers, receive career advice or gain support if they are experiencing a crisis.

After their second venue, Middleton and William then visited HugglePets in the Community to speak with people who work with animals who assisted children with special needs and mental health challenges. The couple will also join Shout 85258 for their 60-second broadcast on the radio for Mental Health Awareness Week.

It comes as the Duchess of Cambridge's youngest brother, James Middleton, shared his own commemoration for Mental Health Awareness Week. He revealed on social media that he used to suffer from clinical depression and coped by constantly engaging in outdoor activities.

The younger Middleton echoed what his sister said of the significance of nature to mental health. He also said that he was diagnosed with his mental health condition more than 1,200 days ago. Kate Middleton is quite close to her brother and sister, Pippa Middleton.
