BTS members have to do their duties to enter the military service one way or another. Although South Korea passed BTS Law to delay their enlistments, it will still happen when they turn 30.

It is only a matter of time before RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook join the military. So, they touch on this topic in a new interview to give light to what may happen to BTS, the ARMY, and their lives after it.

According to Koreaboo, Jin already turned 28 in December and in South Korea, all men who would reach this age are required to enlist in the military. However, he luckily got a two-year extension through the BTS Law, making him feel like he is doing things well as the government gives him more time.

He now plans to make the most out of the two years he got before his time for duty ultimately comes. As the oldest member of the group, followed by Suga, who is also now 28, Jin trusts that others will make the right decision regarding their enlistments.

When Jin begins his military duties, he will be serving until 2025. So, as early as now, he is now trying to see BTS's future, which will be "beautiful and long-lasting."

E! News noted the boys are yet to seriously talk about the specifics of their enlistment. Despite what may happen to their band, they promise that their love for ARMY will always be there.

Jimin admits he does not see himself as not part of the group and cannot even imagine what he will do independently. When the time comes that their band has to break and are already too old to dance, he pictures all of them together, sitting on stage singing and engaging with the loyal ARMYs. Given a chance, Jimin wants BTS to keep going as long as they possibly can.

Male K-pop stars who have received government medals for their domestic and global contributions can now apply for a deferment until their 30s. The only exempted from serving are athletes who have won Olympics or Asian Games medals.

So, eventually, every BTS member will have to enlist and serve about 20 months of military service, following South Korea's law, per Bustle. Jin has received a reprieve, and other members who are about to turn 28 in the coming years may also have the chance to wait until their 30s before their duties begin.

Jungkook is the youngest member of the group, who is now 23, while Jimin and V are 25 and RM and J-Hope are 26 and 27.
