Prince Harry has a fellow British neighbor living just "down the road" to his mansion in Montecito, California actor Orlando Bloom. The Duke of Sussex revealed that they send text messages to each other as a warning if there are photographers lurking around their neighborhood.

Harry and Bloom have a lot more in common than being British or their celebrity status. The two share common friends -- pop star Ellie Goulding and designer Misha Nonoo. They are both interested in spirituality as well, and soon Harry will bond with Bloom once his daughter with Meghan Markle is born. Bloom is dad to Daisy, his nine-month-old daughter with popstar Katy Perry.

Royal expert Dickie Arbiter believes that Prince Harry made it out of his way to befriend Bloom at Nonoo's wedding. Harry's cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were also at that event, suggesting that Bloom may have long been within the circle of the royal cousins.

Beatrice and Eugenie are also very close to Goulding, who was, at one point, romantically linked to Harry. However, Goulding recently confirmed in a TV interview that those stories tying her to the Duke of Sussex were just rumors.

Despite Harry and Bloom's blossoming friendship, Arbiter believes that the Lord of the Rings actor does not fully understand the Duke of Sussex, who has been speaking openly about his struggles as a member of the royal family. The royal expert suggested that this friendship between a royal and Hollywood actor is for convenience since Bloom is literally the closest neighbor of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Montecito.

Incidentally, Bloom lends his voice as Prince Harry to a new animated series that is said to be a mockery of the royal family. The launch of The Prince, which will stream on HBO Max, has been delayed due to the death of Prince Philip, Harry's grandfather. The producers of the series felt it wasn't right to air the show this spring, so soon after the passing of the Duke of Edinburgh. Reports revealed that Harry's grandfather was not depicted in a flattering light on The Prince.

But Bloom said in previous interviews that Prince Harry will likely not be offended about The Prince because the actor personally feels the animated series is smartly written. Bloom also said that he is proud of his British heritage and would not poke fun at his background. The actor believes that Harry will also find the humor in the cartoon series and, as neighbors, they have likely talked about the show.
