9-1-1: Lone Star season 2 episode 14 will be the final one for the second installment and it comes with the title "Dust to Dust." This is a reference to a disaster coming into the city and it could leave a huge impact on everyone. There is a dust storm that will bring chaos to Austin.
In 9-1-1: Lone Star season 2 episode 14, most of the characters prepare themselves for the disaster that's about to hit the city. The dust storm is going to be a terrifying one since it could lead to serious damages -- including car accidents, visibility problems, as well as construction-related disasters.
According to the synopsis of 9-1-1: Lone Star season 2 episode 14, "Owen (Rob Lowe) and the members of the 126 race into action when a massive dust storm engulfs Austin." No further details have been revealed aside from this, but there could be personal storylines coming, as well.
For instance, the penultimate episode brought a heartbreaking moment for Tommy (Gina Torres). When she heads back home, she found her husband, Charles (Derek Webster), unresponsive and he was declared dead shortly after that.
While waiting for answers at the hospital, Tommy was alone and she didn't tell anyone what happened. Later on, it was revealed that Charles died because of an aneurysm and there's nothing she can do about it. Now, she'll be taking a moment to grieve and her colleagues and friends will be there to support her.
In a previous interview with TV Insider, Torres discussed how her character mourns amidst the dust storm in 9-1-1: Lone Star season 2 episode 14. The actress said that there are "a lot of unanswered questions going into the season finale."
Torres made it clear that they're not going to have a lot of resolution. She explained that the death of a family member has "repercussions that go on beyond a day or two or a few weeks." Hence, Tommy needs to adjust to everything that happened to her.
Meanwhile, the series might leave a cliffhanger leading to more stories in the future. The good news is that Fox already renewed the procedural action drama for season 3. However, it is not part of the fall schedule so viewers may need to wait for a little while.
9-1-1: Lone Star season 2 episode 14 airs on Monday, May 24, on Fox.
