Adult Swim once again surprised fans with a brand new Rick and Morty Season 5 trailer. The clip gives a closer look to the parodies it will feature, centering on Voltron and more.

The series seems to take a different path this time and gives fans what they want in the new Rick and Morty Season 5 trailer. As expected, it has successfully hyped fans for its nearing release.

According to Comicbook, the new clip is the third official trailer Adult Swim has dropped so far. It shows more parodies, like Voltron, Marvel's Namor and more character involvements, such as Jessica.

Ever since the network announced the new season's coming, it has been casually dropping new trailers for the series. Each trailer show what will happen next in the lives of the fan-favorite duo, Rick and Morty.

As the show has been known for adapting different pop culture series, one of the most-awaited parodies fans are waiting for is the classic Voltron. Thankfully, the new trailer gives fans a much better look at this adaptation.

The previous trailer already showed the Smith family's Voltron-like outfits and full mecha combination. However, the third one gives viewers more context.

By the looks of it, Rick and Morty Season 5 will be leveling up its parodical nature by making them call this mecha "Gotron." This name is said to be a reference to the English licensed name for Beast King GoLion.

In addition, Adult Swim revealed there would be four short-form spinoffs of some of its most famous shows, per CBR. Some of these are The Vindicators, featuring the eponymous pair that was seen in the previous season.

Rick would later be seen killing them all in Saw-style traps that he made when he was drunk. On its early synopsis, it will feature a major part for Noob Noob, the Vindicator's intern, who Rick surprisingly started to like.

Finally, Rick and Morty Season 5 will drop on June 20. Compared to the previous seasons, the wait for the new season's release was shorter than usual--only a little over a year after Season 4's finale.

Once again, fans will hear the voices of Justin Roiland as Rick, Chris Parnell as Jerry, Spencer Grammar as Summer, and Sarah Chalke as Beth. Fans will start the new episodes at 11 p.m. Eastern Time/Pacific Time on Adult Swim.
