The Chi season 4 episode 2 is bringing more stories for most of the characters once it arrives this weekend. The upcoming episode is titled "Cooley High" and it will further build up everything that happened in the premiere, titled "Soul Food."

Some secrets will be revealed in The Chi season 4 episode 2. The first episode begins with unanswered questions, leaving the fate of certain characters hanging up in the air. The opening foreshadowed Keisha (Birgundi Baker) giving birth and Douda (Curtiss Cook) shot in the roof of the building.

The premiere immediately shifted one month earlier, and it sees everything that transpired before the present timeline. It was revealed that Kevin (Alex Hibbert) confessed his feelings towards Jemma (Judae'a Brown) and he told her that he loves her.

In addition, Dom (La La Anthony) and Darnell (Rolando Boyce) were officially dating. Emmett (Jacob Latimore), on the other hand, was worried that Tiffany (Hannaha Hall) will find out that he slept with Dom. This is something that will be carried out in The Chi season 4 episode 2.

As for Keisha, the premiere saw her meeting with the potential adoptive parents for her baby. However, she seemingly changed her mind about the process when the mother admitted that she's getting a divorce and planning to raise the child by herself.

But perhaps, the biggest storyline tackled in the first episode revolves around police brutality. Jake (Michael V. Epps) was assaulted by a cop, prompting Trig (Luke James) to beat up the officer who hurt the former. This plot might be carried out moving forward, especially now that Douda's the new mayor.

Meanwhile, the synopsis of The Chi season 4 episode 2 notes that Emmett may admit his wrongdoings in order to come clean to Tiff. Kevin and Jake will reconsider their future after going on a college tour. Douda is about to make a decision that could change the face of Chicago.

Elsewhere, Jada (Yolanda Ross) receives unexpected news, Papa (Shamon Brown Jr.) starts his own podcast, and Trig reunites with his old friend. The current installment is still on its early run, so more stories will unfold as the series progresses and nearing to the present timeline.

The Chi season 4 episode 2 is scheduled to air on Sunday, May 30, on Showtime.
