Jujutsu Kaisen publication, Shueisha, gives what every fan wants and drops a new image teasing more of Satoru Gojo in the new Volume 16. As one of the most powerful sorcerers, the manga is now paying attention to this special-grade jujutsu sorcerer.

Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 16 is exciting for fans. So, to hype the new volume more, Shueisha unveils a new website featuring behind-the-scenes facts about the manga and it includes a new side story about Gojo.

According to Comicbook, despite the site's good intention to entertain fans, some find it hard to enjoy because it is Japanese. Hence, it is quite expected that some of its readers will eventually translate it into English.

This side of Gojo's story, reportedly, tells his point of view during the Shibuya Incident arc. Here, fans will know how he did the seal.

Gojo is not yet totally free from the blasted seal after Geto put him there tightly. The teacher may remain on the sideline for a little while and no one knows when he will be back to the spotlight.

Aside from this new side story, the franchise has also dropped the latest artwork featuring Gojo. His dead but expressive eyes are seen in their full beautiful glory without his trademark eye mask.

As fans continuously wait for his return in Jujutsu Kaisen's current arc, they hope it will be happening really soon.

Meanwhile, Shueisha announced the manga has now sold more than 50 million copies, including its digital platform sales, since it started three years ago, according to Siliconera. The manga series began its serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018.

It tells the story of Yuji Itadori, a high school student who joins the secret jujutsu sorcerers group. The protagonist aims to put an end to the mighty cursed spirit Ryomen Sukuna, who is also known as the undisputed King of Curses.

The English version of the manga's Volume 16 went on sale June 1, while it will be out June 4 in Japan. Shueisha said it printed 2 million copies for the first edition of the latest tankobon release.

Shueisha is also dropping special editions of Jujutsu Kaisen Volumes 18 and 19 with additional merchandise. Volume 18 will have acrylic stands, character charms and 2022 calendar sheets when it is released Dec. 25, while Volume 19 will come with 13 portraits when it comes out April 4. Fans can pre-order these two volumes from Aug. 6.
