Kaguya and Miyuki will return to the big screen in the second live-action adaptation of Kaguya-Sama: Love is War. The franchise has dropped a new trailer to tease the two protagonists' incredible love story and reveal its official soundtrack.

The new Kaguya-Sama: Love is War movie trailer unveils its new theme song, titled "On the Moonlit Night when You Fall in Love" by King & Prince. It also gives fans a glimpse of its new storyline, featuring Miyuki (Sho Hirano) and Kaguya (Kanna Hashimoto).

The preview begins with a dull but dramatic vibe as Kaguya and Miyuki craft a plan to make everyone confess. Things start to turn humorous when its official soundtrack starts playing, dropping a good look at what may happen in the movie.

Fans can also see Miyuki kissing another girl. So, who is this girl and has she something to do with Kaguya and Miyuki's romance?

According to Epic Dope, this mysterious woman can't be real, knowing Kaguya is fond of imagining things about Miyuki. Though it remains to be seen who this girl is, there may be several heartbreaking scenes fans are about to witness in the movie, especially Kaguya is seen crying at the end of the trailer.

Miyuki, too, looks upset as Kaguya bids her goodbye. "Goodbye, President," she says.

Meanwhile, talking about the movie's theme song, Hirano, who also leads the King & Price band and plays the role of Miyuki, says he's beyond thrilled and excited to do "On the Moonlit Night when You Fall in Love."

He intentionally wrote the song with a catchy melody, describing it as "very charming." He wants the audience to feel "warm and comfortable" as they watch the new Kaguya-Sama: Love is War movie.

In addition, the upcoming movie's official website recently revealed Hinatazaka46 idol group member Yuka Kageyama would join the film's cast, as Miko Iino, Anime News Network noted.

Of course, Hirano and Hashimoto will reprise their roles as Miyuki and Kaguya, along with Hayato Sano and Nana Asakawa as Ishigami and Chika, respectively. Hayato Kawai will also return to direct the film, along with Yuichi Tokunaga as the scriptwriter.

The new Kaguya-Sama: Love is War movie is officially titled Kaguya-Sama wa Kokurasetai - Tensai-Tachi no Renai Zunosen Final, per Otaku USA Magazine. It is set to hit the Japanese theaters Aug. 20, though it remains to be seen when it will be out internationally.
