Several things are now happening in "One Piece" manga. From the much-awaited fight of Yamato and Kaido to the return of Luffy to Onigashima, every chapter is a must-see.

But aside from these significant events, the little battles and other characters are what complete the series. So, let us look at the case of Chopper's surprising transformation and the stolen Gomu Gomu fruit.

Before Luffy managed to steal this fruit from Shanks' group, the latter snatched it from the enemy ship. No one knew why they got this fruit, but Chapter 1017 revealed its importance after the CP9 agent escorted it.

Now, did they get it because it was in the ship or they knew its power? According to Duniaku, Shanks might have gotten the Gomu Gomu fruit because he wanted to fulfill his captain's, Gol D. Roger, wish to reach the Joy Boy treasure.

A theory claims the World Government considers this special as it belongs to ancient era figures, so Shanks may have learned from Roger that they need to keep it safe. Anyhow, before Shanks can eat it, Luffy already did and so the initial already entrusted Roger's dream to the Beast Pirates captain.

Shanks may also want to stop the World Government from using the Gomu Gomu fruit to its own advantage. The organization may be the only one that knows its privileges, so Shanks decided to steal it.

Anyhow, if it is true, it should have been hunting Shanks in the first place. Lastly, there are also claims Shanks wants to take the fruit back to return to the World Government.

Shanks is close to Gorosei as the Five Elders do not need to have escorts anymore to talk to him. There may be someone who steals the Gomu Gomu fruit and Shanks wants to give it back to them with their excellent relationship.

Meanwhile, in the recent chapter of "One Piece," Chopper shows a surprising transformation, Comicbook noted. As he continued to revert the virus that Queen made, the time he had spent with the Rumble Ball took its toll on him.

Sure, he had made a lot of progress, but a new Rumble Ball form was revealed--though it came with a consequence. Instead of giving him incredible strength, he turned into a baby reindeer, called the Baby Geezer state.

Although he could still talk, he used "very outdated language." Could Chopper still return to his usual form? Find out when One Piece releases Sunday.
