The LAPD arrested Andy Dick for allegedly assaulting a man with a metal chair over the weekend. His fiancée Elisa Jordana revealed the news on her YouTube show, "Kermit and Friends," along with other revelations.
The radio and TV personality announced Dick got into trouble that led to his arrest, though he had already set a bail. LAPD later confirmed the news.
"Andy Dick was arrested at 4:45 PM on June 26th for assault with a deadly weapon on the North 1200 block of Mansfield," LAPD told HollywoodLife. "His bail is set at $50,000 and a court date has not been set as of yet."
In her clip, Jordana revealed Dick could have killed the guy after seeing some pictures and videos of the incident. The victim was taken to the Cedars-Sinai hospital and she said, "it's not good."
She continued the comedian could be "very aggressive" when he had drunk too much and his behaviour seemed to be getting "worse." Problems are coming every day and there are signs that something is going to happen.
Jordana continued that before Dick's arrest, he was evicted from his house and moved into a hostel, where he once again kicked out for bringing in 11 people. He also allegedly stole "cutlery, a wine glass and plates" from a restaurant and asked her to come to another eatery to pay for his tab.
So, when she heard of his arrest, she wasn't surprised at all. Anyhow, Jordana feels at ease that he's safe - saying no one has to worry that Dick may die today.
Page Six noted the actor made the bail Tuesday, though his reps have not commented about the issue. This is not the first time that Dick has been involved in a legal problem.
In fact, he has a long list of trouble with the law and that includes a charge for groping a driver from a ride-hailing service in 2019. He also pled not guilty to misdemeanour battery and misdemeanour sexual battery after allegedly groping a woman's behind in 2018.
If those are not enough, Dick was fired from an indie movie in 2017 after accusations that he also groped its cast and crew members. Though he denied the claims, he admitted he might have kissed someone on the cheek and licked it.
He also revealed he was making proposals for people to sleep with him. Anyhow, Dick recently launched a podcast, "ADickted to Love," as his medium to talk to doctors, therapists, spiritual leaders and recovery specialists to help him stop these wrongdoings and go to the right path.
