It may take a long while before fans can see the much-awaited Meta Liberation Army arc in "My Hero Academia" Season 5. Aside from the storyline switch featuring the Endeavor Agency arc first instead of the My Villain Academia, a filler episode will also be seen.
The franchise has already confirmed the coming anime-only episode in "My Hero Academia" Season 5. So, what this filler episode will be all about?
According to Comicbook, the said episode may focus on the Big Three's Uravity, Ochaco and Nejire instead of the Three Musketeers. It will not be the first time that it will center on these three, as the anime already explored their story in another filler episode earlier this season.
It happened before the Joint Training Exercise arc started - showing how much Deku and his friends had progressed since day one.
They are the most famous students in the UA Academy who help to test out the Class 1-A's Quirks and fighting skills by acting like villains.
As the story of the Meta Liberation Army is now taking the spotlight, it remains to be seen if this new "My Hero Academia" Season 5 filler episode has something to do with this group.
"Ochaco, Tsuyu, and Nejire from the Big 3 are interning at Ryukyu's agency," the filler episode's official synopsis reads. "Suddenly, they hear news about a factory that produces the Quirk-boosting drug "trigger" exploding and putting a mountain on fire in a country called Kaflin. Then, the pro-hero Selkie sends them a Team-Up request!?"
But before this episode airs, the fifth season will first feature Episode 15, titled "One Thing at a Time." Deku, Bakugo and Shoto will return in action as they continue their training under Endeavor, IBTimes noted.
In the new episode preview, these three can be seen doing their work studies as part of their hero course curriculum. The three interns have officially started their training and Deku promises to learn how to control his power.
"Deku, Bakugou, and Todoroki are now interning with the number one hero. Before giving them specific tasks, Endeavor asks each one what they came here for," Episode 15's official synopsis read. "After hearing, Endeavor gives them a single mission: during this winter, show me you can defeat at least one villain faster than me!"
Before Endeavor gives them their tasks, he asks each one of them why they are with him. They then ask them to show if they can defeat at least one enemy faster than him.
"My Hero Academia" Season 5 Episode will release Saturday.
