"One Piece" Chapter 1020 spoilers are now online - starting with Kaido and Yamato's fight. As the two talk about Yamato's hybrid form, Kaido's daughter swears to free Wano from his grasp as well as the samurai.
After the previous chapter's cliffhanger, fans have finally had a glimpse of Yamato's Hybrid Devil-Fruit form. The War on Onigashima is getting pretty intense each chapter and the upcoming "One Piece" Chapter 1020 will be like no other.
The fight between the father and child is getting real serious after the revelation that Yamato has her own Devil Fruit ability. She can also access the Hybrid Beast form like her father and now, she is using it against him.
According to Comicbook, Kaido acknowledges his kid's value as a soldier and reveals Yamato has eaten a Devil Fruit that he has worked hard to acquire. He has no intention to let Yamato eat it, but that is what happened.
Alternatively, Yamato only eats it because she is hungry and has no idea of what may happen. Now knowing the Devil Fruit's ability, this only makes her eager to fight her father more.
Though Kaido gets the best of her every time, Yamato does not mind. She promises to do her best to live up to Oden's name.
As the Devil Fruit remains a mystery, many believe it is a mighty one that Yamato only takes accidentally.
The full summary of "One Piece" Chapter 1020, via Reddit, reveals everything will begin with Kaido talking on the top of Onigashima's Skull Dome.
"Dog Dog Fruit, Mythical Type, Model 'Ooguchi no Makami' (Large-Mouthed Guardian Wolf)!!!" Kaido said. "It's a valuable Mythical Beast and the deity protector of Wanokuni!! I didn't expect that someone who would call herself 'Oden' could eat it!!"
Kaido then hits Yamato with his kanabo and continues his spiel.
"Orochi had a talent as a terrible dictator. That's why this country is now a weapon factory," Kaido added. "I want you to rule the country and keep it running for my sake!!"
Yamato strongly disagrees and swears to free the country and the samurai. She then uses a new attack against her father, called Namuji Hyouga.
It shoots a massive flame from his mouth - going toward Kaido. Yamato then remembers Oden's words - saying "open Wano's borders."
Kaido uses his Bolo Breath against his daughter. When their two attacks clash, it results in a big explosion.
Kaido then swears he will never let Yamato do her plan.
