Fans will see the continuation of Guts, Griffith, Casca, and other Band of the Hawk members' stories with the release of "Berserk" Chapter 364. However, after Kentaro Miura's passing, will this be the end of the series?

The manga has been running since 1989, and Miura's sudden demise makes its future unknown. Though there are theories that his assistants may continue the Europe-inspired dark fantasy world's tale, everything remains undecided. So, will "Berserk" Chapter 364 be the last?

Amid the doubts and questions, it cannot be denied that the series' avid followers are now excited to see upcoming new installment. This is the last work Miura wrote, and there is no way they will not see it.

According to Comicbook, a number of fans shared their sentiments about the new "Berserk" chapter. Some believed this would be legendary, knowing it was the last from the mangaka himself.

One fan said Chapter 364 might become the chapter of the year, seeing its preview looks very insane. However, Twitter user Akshit Jain wants to know if it will answer the story's two mysteries.

The first one is Casca's reaction to Moonlight Boy after her memories return and confrontation with Guts. The second is Flora, Skull Night, and Elf Queen's connection, and the forbidden thing she has committed.

Meanwhile, the announcement about "Berserk" Chapter 364's coming comes after its publisher, Young Animal, revealed the manga's future remains undecided. As some question if they will still see the Band of the Hawk's story concludes, many believe the upcoming chapter will be the end of it.

However, Young Animal did not confirm if Miura's last work would be the end of the series or his assistants would continue the story to give the Band of the Hawk a proper conclusion.

"We are sorry, but the future of Berserk is currently undecided," it said, via Comicbook. "We will inform you in Young Animal Magazine as soon as it is decided, so please wait for that. Thank you very much."

Anime News Network reported that Young Animal issue No. 18 would include "Berserk" Chapter 364 that would be released on Sept. 10. It would feature a full-color opening page.

The new chapter has the label "latest," so it may not be yet the end of it. Instead, it will be a memorial issue to honor Miura's work, along with the release of a special "Messages to Kentaro Miura" booklet and a poster of his work's most famous scenes.
