With no one to help, Shigaraki was ambushed and ended up meeting AFO. The latter saw his will to kill, so he took him in.

AFO told Shigaraki the rules of society did not apply to him, so he could do as he pleased. As he started to become AFO's disciple, Shigaraki began to follow his orders.

With his powerful quick and strong desires and emotions, AFO made Shigaraki his successor. From here, Shigaraki started to cause destruction and chaos to fulfill his master's biddings.

Meanwhile, the "My Hero Academia" Season 5 Episode 24 preview has now dropped and it teases the intense battle between Shigaraki and Re-Destro. It also shows how he used to struggle in the early days of his life.

It will also show his destructive impulses and the day he receives the name "Tomura Shigaraki." From here, he will wake up and return to reality as the fight between the League of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army will finally come to an end.

In addition, another synopsis teases the climax of Shigaraki and Re-Destro's fight. So, who will win between these two?

Meanwhile, the current season is about to end, though there are no words yet when "My Hero Academia" Season 6 will come. Fans expect there will be a renewal or a new season announcement coming after Season 5 officially ends.
