Jeon So-mi admitted she once caught the "celebrity disease," which was becoming so proud of herself and feeling overwhelmed with fame. Everything started when she debuted with IOI, but, fortunately, her mind cleared up.

How did it happen? Jeon So-mi came to realize she was behaving badly that made her stop.

In an interview with "MMTG," the 20-year-old star believed every celebrity experienced "celebrity disease" at least once. She became used to the idea that someone would always take care of her, AllKpop noted.

She thought she was supposed to look perfect throughout the year, which only made it natural that people would look after her. She did not know there was a difference between asking for a favor and demanding things to be done for her.

Subconsciously, she noticed she was behaving that way. She, then, realized her bad behavior when rumors about her began when she debuted.

As a martial artist, she questioned herself if she was already losing her mind to behave that way. From there, her mind cleared up and she got cured of that disease.

Recently, Jeon So-mi made a comeback with her first-ever full-length album, titled "XOXO." She has now reached more than 100 million views for her "DUMB DUMB" music video on YouTube-another first as a solo artist, per Soompi.

It is also her "first and fastest" solo music video to reach this major milestone. It only took Somi three months and 10 days to experience this breakthrough. "DUMB DUMB" music video was officially released on Aug. 2.

The clip features offroad joyriding and explosions as she says goodbye to her ex. It is an anthem for women who are now doing things on their own.

Meanwhile, talking about her album, Jeon So-mi made "XOXO" an anthem for independent individuals. This time, she no longer lets her feelings be "trivialized," Teen Vogue cited.

Released on Oct. 29, the LP features a full-fledged rebellion theme. Despite the limitations that come with her being a solo female artist in South Korea, she does not let these boundaries stop her creativity.

Despite the public perfection, she does not mind being judged and do things on her own way. She thoroughly and meticulously handles her own album's creation.

From conceptualizing its theme to writing the songs to producing everything in between, Jeon So-mi works on it all. Just like what she aims for, she owns "XOXO," saying she "just did it." Evidently, it was a success and she is now ready for worldwide domination.
