The story of Eren, Mikasa and the rest of the gang fans have seen on the small screen for eight years is about to end in "Attack on Titan" Season 4 Part 2. But before that happens, the people behind the series are eyeing to continue the franchise with new content.

The talk about the possible new "Attack on Titan" projects began when the franchise revealed the return date of "Attack on Titan" Season 4 Part 2. Its official manga editor page made the announcement as thanks and hyped the title once more after they said they started "meeting about the future of the franchise."

The editors thanked the anime for keeping them happy and working even after the manga's serializations had already ended. Aside from the series' animated version, they revealed the staff had begun meeting to talk about the franchise's future, asking fans to look forward to it.

As expected, fans started to make an assumption of what new content the title would have. Though it might be nothing, it could not be denied that the "Attack on Titan" editors are still actively working on the franchise.

If this new project pushes through, it may explore other elements of Paradis that fans have never seen before, Comicbook noted. Meanwhile, in January 2022, fans are about to see the final episodes of "Attack on Titan" Season 4 Part 2.

The war between the Marleyians and the Eldians will finally close and viewers can expect to see more casualties on both parties. The first part of the season ends with a major cliffhanger, featuring Eren staring down at Reiner and waiting for their rematch.

So, to reach a wider range of audience, Funimation and Crunchyroll confirmed the release of the final season of Hajime Isayama's brainchild on the respective streaming services. With that said, more fans are about to see everything the Survey Corps has prepared in their fight against the nation of Marley.

Armin, Mikasa and the rest of the group will have to face the biggest threat of all, their former friend Eren. In hopes of eliminating the Titans from the world, Eren joins forces with his brother, Zeke, known as the powerful Beast Titan, to fulfill the Euthanasia Plan, which will sterilize all the Eldian Race members.

If this plan succeeds, the Titans will end its reign and there will be no new generations that will inherit its monstrous form. Studio MAPPA returns to handle "Attack on Titan" Season 4 Part 2 and fans can expect the final fights to be more intense.
