The Marvel Cinematic Universe houses dozens of films and series materials in its library. In 2021 alone, the studio has already released four television shows and three movies, with another one arriving this December.

Each title features several actresses who engage in action scenes. In preparation for the sequences, having workout routines and programs is only fitting.

OK! magazine shared a peek at some of the actresses' regimens in its latest issue.

Angelina Jolie and Florence Pugh are some of the latest additions to the MCU's roster of stars. They played the roles of Thena in "Eternals" and Yelena in "Black Widow," respectively.

The two celebrities seemingly have similar workout routines in preparation for their characters. As reported, it had links to "dancing," with Jolie specifying ballet.

She reportedly trained in ballet because she intended to make Thena as "graceful" as possible. She wanted to try to bring "something different" to the character.

As for Pugh, she noted that she grew up dancing and doing a lot of movements. So, she found the action scenes "exciting." But, apart from the skills that she already has, it is said that she worked with a trainer and did kickboxing.

The same publication included Elizabeth Olsen and her workout preparations for her projects with Marvel. She has already done four films and a nine-episode series, with another movie coming out in 2022.

The actress reportedly tailored her regimens for each project. In preparing her Wanda character for "Captain America: Civil War," she did Muay Thai.

Meanwhile, when she was filming for "Avengers: Infinity War," she is said to have gotten to her "athletic shape" by focusing on her diet. She eliminated dairy, as well as gluten, and ate seven small meals per day.

The List, also, previously released a lengthy report, detailing the workout routines that some of the Marvel actresses did to get in shape for their respective MCU projects. One of the personalities on the list is Scarlett Johansson, who played the role of Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a. Black Widow.

Speaking to an interview in the past, the actress reportedly pointed out that her regimen was "no secret" at all. She cited the "boring 5 a.m. workouts," as well as the "old tried and true" type of plan.

As for Brie Larson, the public has repeatedly witnessed how she does her fitness sessions on social media. It appears that she always spends a "serious time" in the gym and does "intense" routines for her Marvel character.
