Talks about the controversial interview Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did with Oprah continue to make the headlines. The latest developments, though, now involve Prince Charles following the release of Christopher Andersen's book, "Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan."

In the book, a source claimed that the Prince of Wales mused to his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, and wondered about the complexion of the Sussex couple's future children. This, then, led many to conclude that he was the one Markle was talking about in her interview with Oprah.

Globe reported that the latest claims unmasked Prince Charles as the "racist" who made a comment about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's son's skin tone. These charges have, also, reportedly "hurt" the British Monarchy, with the sources insisting on it.

The same insiders continued that when the book hit the stands in the United Kingdom, the future King was representing Queen Elizabeth II in Barbados. As noted, he was there to witness the ceremony, marking the transition from a Commonwealth country to a republic.

A palace courtier told the tabloid, as well, that the racism allegations have "cut to the quick." The Windsor clan would reportedly like the world to forget about Britain's "long, brutal, and embarrassing colonial history" but, it appeared that the Sussex couple ensured that it can't happen.

Amid the developing series of events, though, author Christopher Andersen argued that the skin tone remark Prince Charles allegedly made falls more into being curious more than being a racist. He wrote in his book that scheming courtiers, the "men in grey," echoed the remarks "in a less innocent way."

Page Six said that the author points the finger at them as they were the ones who gave the comment a racist spin. By the time it reached the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, it had already reached toxic proportions.

Meanwhile, as the speculations continue, National Enquirer said that other palace sources have new claims about the matter. As alleged, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are "secretly delighted," and are "gloating."

The insiders, also, added that the Sussex couple is "enjoying every second" of discomfort Prince Charles is experiencing these days. They reportedly feel "vindicated" that the Prince of Wales has been exposed.

As for the future King, reports said that he denies the accusations. Following the release of the book, a Clarence House spokesman called the allegations "fiction," adding that it is "not worth further comment."
