Prince William and Kate Middleton are one of the most influential and popular couples in the world. It, then, makes total sense why the public's eyes always follow them everywhere they go.

Apart from their royal posts and official ventures, their looks, in terms of style and appearance, also, get attention. This is probably one of the reasons why the Duchess of Cambridge, allegedly, ordered her husband to wear a toupee.

Sources told the National Enquirer that the future Queen Consort is "not loving" her partner's "lackluster locks." But, it is said that the Duke of Cambridge is an "old-fashioned soul" who, just like his dad, has decided to stick with what he has and make the most out of it.

He was reportedly a good sport, as well, when Kate Middleton, alongside their three children, teased him about his hair. It is already in the past, however, as anyone who would make a similar "gag," Prince William would "go into a major sulk," insiders alleged.

The sources continued that this has since led the Duchess of Cambridge to push her husband to give a toupee a try. She does not allegedly want to see her husband looking older than his years, and he might like it.

Kate Middleton, also, previously made a joke about her husband's thinning hair, according to E! Online. During their tour in Australia in 2014, she reportedly told Prince William to put the alpaca on his head, adding that he needs it more than her while pointing to his head.

Reports said that the Duke of Cambridge laughed, as well. But, he did the same to his wife a few months later.

As it happened, he described the Duchess's hair as a "nightmare." He was, also, said to have suggested that a trainee hairdresser should style his wife's hair.

An unnamed hairdresser explained, however, what went down during the engagement. As stated, the insider could not believe that the future King said it before his wife.

Although at first, he did not look serious, they, later on, realized that the Wales Prince was not joking. He shared that no one wanted to do the Duchess of Cambridge's hair because it was "long and thick," adding that it was the issue.

Meanwhile, it remains unknown whether Kate Middleton is, indeed, asking Prince William to wear a toupee. The claims are only based on sources' assertions, and no evidence has emerged.
