"Dragon Ball Super" Granolah the Survivor arc will be soon over and a new storyline is about to begin next year. Victory Uchida, the host of the manga's panel at the Jump Festa over the weekend in Japan, revealed the story of Granolah would come to an end and fans were about to see something new.
Granolah is now working with Goku and Vegeta to take the Heeters down. The feud between them has finally ended and they will soon put "Dragon Ball Super" Granolah the Survivor arc to a close.
The transcripts online, via Comicbook, revealed Uchiha only relayed the details from the manga artist Toyotaro, who said the current arc was about to reach its climax. The creator added a "new arc would begin in 2022," so fans could now look forward to its release.
However, there are no words on exactly when the new arc will begin. As the manga just releases a new chapter every month, it will take time before the story progresses.
There are theories that it may end in May or June, though nothing has been confirmed yet. Granolah is still eager to find Frieza to avenge his people and planet in "Dragon Ball Super."
Sure, the villain is hard to find, but the bounty hunter will surely have his way. His skill set will help him track his hideout and he may get the help of Goku and Vegeta.
Currently, Gas is battling against Goku and Vegeta gives Granolah a senzu beam to regain his strength and face the Heeter. There may be a rematch between the two and there will be big battles coming in the series, per News Concerns.
For starters, the Granolah arc introduces fans to a new threat with the intergalactic bounty hunter, Granolah. He has an ax weapon that he aims to use against the Saiyans, who he believes have annihilated his race, the Cerelians.
So, with the use of his planet's Dragon Balls, he wishes to become the strongest warrior in the universe. He, then, goes against Goku and Vegeta, the battle that the Heeters have set up.
A heated fight begins and Vegeta uses a new transformation, known as Ultra Ego, to try to bring down the last Cerelian race, but to no avail. As the story progresses, Granolah learns the truth behind the criminal organization's lies and he has now worked together with Goku and Vegeta to bring the Heeters down.
Fans will see what will happen from here when "Dragon Ball Super" Chapter 80 drops in January 2022.
