Jennifer Aniston has seemingly maintained good friendships with her former husbands. She and Justin Theroux have appeared to be on good terms, the same way she is with Brad Pitt.
Recently, though, sources alleged that the "Ad Astra" actor found it hard to see his ex-wife getting cozy with Theroux. It is said that Aniston's closeness with her second ex-husband "stings" Pitt, according to OK! magazine.
The insiders noted that the friendship between the two "Wanderlust" stars is a "sore spot" for the "Fight Club" actor. It is not reportedly sitting well with him, especially after seeing his former wife on the lap of Theroux.
While Brad Pitt is "low-key jealous," Jennifer Aniston allegedly finds it "sweet" that her first ex-husband is feeling this way. Even so, she is "happy" to show everyone that she and Justin Theroux have remained "the best of friends."
As for the "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" actor, sources further asserted that he takes "immense pride" in his "tight" friendship with the "Friends" actress. Accordingly, he found the recent photo Theroux had posted as "kind of lame," considering that he had to make it public in the first place.
Amid all the assertions, though, reps of Aniston reportedly clarified that there is no tension among the three of them.
The latest allegations surrounding Brad Pitt, as well as Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, come as the latter two celebrities recently reunited for the taping of "The Facts of Life." During the engagement, cast members posted photos of their co-stars, including Theroux, who posted some on Instagram, with one of them featuring his ex-wife.
In the picture, the actor appears to be in the middle of a group hug with Aniston and Ann Dowd. He captioned it as "Anne-Sandwich," as Dowd was in between the former couple.
Pinkvilla reported that the image amassed various kinds of reactions from netizens. Many "gushed over" the two celebrities because of their closeness despite ending their marriage nearly four years ago.
Following all the rumors and allegations, it remains uncertain, however, whether Brad Pitt is, indeed, feeling "jealous" of Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston's recent reunion. Sources and insiders from tabloids have not provided any proof to support their claims.
Aniston and Pitt tied the knot in 2000. Their marriage lasted for five years before ending things for good.
The "Troy" star, later on, began dating Angelina Jolie. It took years before they wedded each other but, they ended up splitting, as well, in 2019.
As for the "Along Came Polly" actress, she began dating Justin Theroux in 2011, after starring together in "Wanderlust." They tied the knot in 2015, but, also, ended their marriage less than three years later.
