Kate Middleton celebrated her 40th birthday with the release of her stunning photo on Sunday, Jan. 9. As expected, the Duchess of Cambridge received a lot of greetings and heaps of praise, including that of the controversial TV host Piers Morgan.

Morgan, who left his stint on "Good Morning Britain" because of Meghan Markle, once again had nothing but good words for Kate. He shared the future queen consort's birthday snap on Twitter and captioned it with a sweet approval.

The 56-year-old broadcaster said Prince William's wife is a "wonderful asset to the royal family." The News noted his tweet seemed to be a jab at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after hinting that he would target the two when he returned to the media world.

In an earlier tweet, he seemed to insinuate that he would be the worst nightmare of the "narcissistic celebrities, hypocritical politicians and virtue-signaling junior members of the royal family." From here, he declared he was "back."

With that being said, many saw his announcements as a "cryptic message" to the Sussexes. Morgan just launched his weekly column at The Sun.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time the TV personality praised Kate. He also admitted he was left in awe when the mother-of-three showed off her incredible piano talent at her Christmas Carol concert, per Express.

The Duchess of Cambridge played the grand piano in Westminster Abbey to the tune of Tom Walker's hit "For Those Who Can't Be Here." As expected, Kate dazzled as she sat there and pressed the keys.

Walker himself commended Kate's "smashing" performance and even described her as "lovely, kind and warm-hearted" lady. Morgan, alternatively, shared the same sentiment and gushed over her surprising piano skills, which she has learned since she was a child.

He also re-tweeted a message from the official account of the Cambridges to his 7.9 million Twitter followers. "A very special performance of 'For Those Who Can't Be Here' with @IamTomWalker for #TogetherAtChristmas," it read.

The tweet even asked everyone to watch Kate's full performance on the couple's official YouTube channel. In addition, Morgan made his own caption on the tweet, saying it was "very cool and very ballsy" and congratulating her for a job well done.

Many had backed Morgan's claim this time, as other netizens filled his tweet with positive comments for Kate's performance. In another post, he praised Kate again and even called her a "proper duchess."
