Fans will finally see the return of ATEEZ this year. After a successful final live performance for their world tour, ATINY, the boys' fandom, is about to see more of the Korean boy band this 2022.
ATEEZ will be making another concert tour this year. The group's leader, Hongjoong, announced the good news at the end of their two-day "The Fellowship: Beginning of the End" concert at The Forum in Inglewood in Los Angeles.
The group's latest concert tour has seen a positive outcome, leading to their official return, AllKpop noted. It has been two years since the octet last announced their U.S. tour after the COVID-19 pandemic put a stop to all in-person concerts.
However, when Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho finally made their return on stage, they once again showed incredible energy. The boys sang their hearts out as fans cheered for them with their light sticks.
ATEEZ performed a consistent set-list throughout the two-day tour. However, Jongho stayed backstage as the concert came closer to the end due to health reasons.
But for their final performance, he made sure he would be part of it and sang "Star 1117" and "Turbulence" with the group. They, then, thanked fans for singing with them in Korean, knowing how difficult it was to learn a new language.
Later, the good news comes, and ATEEZ is set to perform later this year. Hopefully, there will be no unfortunate events or circumstances that will stop their plans to see more ATINY all over the world soon.
Meanwhile, despite not officially making a comeback, the hitmakers continuously dominate the music charts, per Soompi. The "Utopia" singers dropped the new song, "Don't Stop," an exclusive track for the K-pop platform UNIVERSE, on Jan. 31.
Just after it was released, it quickly topped the iTunes charts in different countries worldwide. On Feb. 1, it became the No. 1 track on iTunes Top Songs charts in about nine regions, like Indonesia, Brazil, Singapore, Malaysia, Chile, Colombia, Poland, and Turkey.
It was also No. 1 on iTunes Top K-Pop Songs charts in at least 28 different regions, such as the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Japan, Denmark, Argentina, Finland, the United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. ATEEZ just proved their fame and success, despite knowing "Don't Stop" wasn't part of a comeback or group promotions.
