Katie Nicholl believes that Kate Middleton will be a "real key player" to end the disputes between the Sussex Royals and the rest of the British Royal Family. "She will do what she can to heal the rift," even if it is only for a show, especially for the Platinum Jubilee.

The royal expert shared her suggestions and thoughts about the matter with Closer, according to Express UK. She noted that the Duchess of Cambridge has always been a "real peacemaker" as she values family.

In addition, she has had a close relationship with Prince Harry. Accordingly, she could be "crucial" in facilitating reconciliation among the royals.

Nicholl continued that Kate Middleton was "hurt," as well, following all the dramas and controversies. The comments of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle "deeply hurt" Prince William, too.

But, despite this, the expert asserted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will want to make things "easier" for Queen Elizabeth II. The same thing applies, as well, to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In the end, Katie Nicholl added that there are already talks among the British Royals about "how to soften things this year." As per her statements, the former working royals are, also, included in these discussions.

An uncle to Kate Middleton, Gary Goldsmith, has similar beliefs about his niece as a facilitator of peace. He recently told Closer UK that the future Queen Consort is a "brilliant arbiter and peacemaker," according to W Magazine.

Goldsmith, also, revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge always does the "best she can," adding that she is "trying to mediate." He claimed, "every bone in her body is about making friends."

While the alleged tension between Prince William and Prince Harry is said to be no one's business but their own, Goldsmith stated that his niece is just "trying to look after her husband" and make things right.

In 2021, Kate Middleton received similar assertions, saying that she acted as a "peacemaker" with Prince Harry. This reportedly happened when the latter returned to the United Kingdom for the unveiling of the statue of Princess Diana.

MailOnline reported that the statements came from sources who spoke with The Sunday Times. They allegedly uncovered that the Duchess of Cambridge was "amazing behind the scenes" when her brother-in-law arrived.

On another occasion, particularly during Prince Philip's funeral, reports said that the future Queen Consort was the first British Royal to chat with the Duke of Sussex. She was even allegedly "holding back" in an effort to reunite the two Wales princes.
