EXO's Suho has been teasing his return after exiting the military. So on Sunday, Feb. 20, he drops a mysterious trailer that hints at the coming of a new release. Is it new music?
"At last, the man takes off his grey suit," the clip reveals, referring to Suho. So what does this cryptic message mean?
After his military exit, the 30-year-old star wrote a handwritten letter and shared it on Instagram. He revealed he had started preparing a "special gift" for his fans, though he didn't say what it was, Soompi noted.
Anyhow, he said he hoped this mysterious gift would make fans feel that it was worth it to wait for him for two years. Suho enlisted in 2020 and was discharged earlier this month.
The trailer in question was uploaded on EXO's official Twitter account with a simple caption, "Suho." It showed a clock that ticked in the background
The stopwatch ticked every 15 seconds. Later, a mysterious cupboard was seen in the middle of the forest and showed a pair of suits.
The clip ended with a black screen with Suho's name on it. By the looks of it, fans would be treated with a new release very soon. Some even say it might even be a new album.
As expected, fans filled the post with different theories and reactions. In fact, one fan said that he didn't understand anything of it, but he loved the little teaser and what it was about.
Meanwhile, the singer-songwriter met his fans through a special live stream with a concept of a job interview-like meeting on Friday, Feb. 19, on EXO's official YouTube channel, per Pinkvilla.
Titled "Suho's resume for EXO-L Inc.," the broadcast saw the "Rich Man" star as a job seeker who applied for a position at EXO-L Inc. It featured the modern format of a virtual interview as he sought a job.
Fans saw him do different fun activities, like writing his own resume, formally introducing himself in a talk, answering random questions and doing a mission corner. This was Suho's first official schedule since he returned from the military.
Ever since he got discharged, fans gave him a warm welcome and made the hashtag #SuHomecoming trend worldwide. He revealed how he missed his followers and dreamt of holding a concert with them as a return. He ended his note with EXO's signature motto of "We are one. Let's love."
