After "Ghost Doctor," fans may see Rain in an international project if his revelation is anything to go by. The 39-year-old star revealed he would be doing an American project, which the COVID-19 pandemic delayed.

Raid had an interview with Star News to discuss the end of his tvN drama "Ghost Doctor." As he talked about being an actor and a singer, he suddenly revealed his plans for his next project in the U.S.

Kim Tae Hee's husband mentioned he had an overseas project. Back in 2019, after his stint on MBC's "Welcome 2 Life," he auditioned for a new project in the U.S., but his entry was denied due to the global health crisis, AllKpop noted.

However, two years later and with the restrictions easing, he confidently said he's currently discussing "these projects." With that being said, he has a good feeling that he will soon sign the contract.

Talking about his career, many know that Rain started as a singer. At the time, he thought there were limitations to his profession.

Thankfully, the concept had changed. Though he's now a year shy of his 40s, he still wanted to dance well, so he controlled his diet and wanted to work out.

Rain also admitted that he's not a "naturally funny person" and couldn't make people laugh. So, he thanked everyone who helped him enter the entertainment scene. He's now looking forward to doing a variety program, though he's not yet that confident.

Meanwhile, looking back at the start of his career, "The Hungry and the Hairy" star started as a member of the boy group Fanclub. However, the group eventually disbanded due to the lack of commercial success, per Pinkvilla.

Despite that, though, Rain rebranded himself and debuted as a solo artist with his first solo album "Bad Guy." Here, he introduced himself as Rain and the rest was history.

He started to top music charts, hold concert tours and release more albums. His career took plight and he rose to prominence both in Asia and abroad.

But his K-drama, "Full House," opposite Song Hye Kyo, sealed Rain's success as an actor. He became known as the pan-Asia star and from one series to another, he also made movies.

In fact, he even made films in Hollywood. So after "Ghost Doctor," fans are about to see more of Rain in the future.
