"One Piece" Chapter 1043 spoilers have dropped earlier than usual and hinted at the victory of Kaido. Does this mean the beast has defeated the Straw Hat Pirates' leader?
What happened to Luffy if Kaido indeed won? It looks like "One Piece" Chapter 1043 has a lot of questions to answer.
A post on Reddit revealed the next chapter would be called "Let's Die Together." The cover featured an oven arriving on Whole Cake Island.
Kaido was declared the winner, while the CP0 boss got stomped. Momonosuke talks to Zunisha about something important.
Additional info is also revealed, though it may not be 100% accurate. Yamato will, allegedly, say the new chapter's title, while Kaido may get down off the roof.
He is ready to beat anyone who will come his way. No one knows what will happen to the CP0 member after he gets attacked, though a scene may focus on him in "One Piece" Chapter 1043.
With these turn of events, the community will be divided. However, fans are advised to take these assumptions with a grain of salt as these are not confirmed yet.
Meanwhile, the previous chapters show how Luffy tries his best to bring Kaido down, per Recent Highlights. Sure, they seem to be evenly matched, but Luffy is gradually getting tired. He switched to Snakeman, but Kaido managed to copy him in no time.
So, what happened to Luffy? He started his final Gear Fourth and when it came to an end, he had no energy left.
He was very determined to end Luffy with his last move, the Over Kong Gun, but to no avail. Kaido started to charge at him with his Thunder Bellow Bagua, but it came with a huge problem.
The CP0 boss suddenly showed up and held Luffy's arm. The hero got distracted and couldn't attack properly.
Luffy had to endure the full force Kaido was giving and so, he failed to defend himself with someone holding him. The CP0 boss used Iron Body to protect him, leaving Luffy unprotected.
He couldn't do the same, so he was left vulnerable. Kaido realized the same thing happened 20 years ago.
Oden was distracted back then, which led to his defeat. Luffy got distracted, too, and was thrashed brutally. Does this mean Kaido is about to win?
