Another recording of Du Meizhu, also known as DMZ, Kris Wu's accuser, is now spreading on the Chinese app, Kwai. DMZ's co-planners-now-turned-foes Liu Meili and Li En released the second recording that might prove the Chinese-Canadian rapper's innocence.

The record featured DMZ seemed to be talking to Liu Meili about the whole Kris Wu scandal. The recording appeared to reveal that the rape controversy was only a gamble and DMZ didn't have actual evidence to prove it.

DMZ admitted in the second recording that she didn't have real evidence and she only scared the 31-year-old star to extort money, AllKpop noted. She was confident the actor would play her game if she "forced him into a corner" and "take something useful" for themselves as she might not "win if she exposed him."

Then, Li En asked the listeners what DMZ meant when she said "something useful" and advised them to listen to the first recording. The audio was said to be recorded on July 12, probably last year.

It's also good to note that the police revealed Kris Wu's mother transferred 500,000 Yuan to DMZ's account on July 11. The police also learned ghostwriter Xu reached DMZ on July 13 and the latter published blogs written by Xu on July 16. The said blog contained "fictional content" that DMZ provided, per Beijing Youth Daily.

On the other hand, during DMZ's live stream, she asked "certain people" to go to the police instead of taking things online. She also said the hate comments on her broadcast were "boring" and promised to stream every night.

Meanwhile, in the first recording, via KBIZoom, Li En and Liu Meili revealed DMZ said Kris Wu "absolutely didn't sleep with any underage girls." At the time, DMZ claimed she had "real solid evidence" and when Kris Wu saw her response, she stressed she knew him so much.

The woman who was believed to be DMZ added she first typed 800, which surprised the man, describing his tone as a "disgusting bubbly voice." She continued Aye He was the most shocked and started to panic, thinking where he would get 8 million.

With this new revelation, fans are taken aback by the real deal surrounding Kris Wu's rape scandal. However, many still question the legitimacy of the recordings.

For starters, Kris Wu was formally arrested on suspicion of rape in August 2021, per CNN. He was first detained on July 31 in the Chinese capital after an online outcry over a sexual assault allegation led by DMZ resulted in the most high-profile #MeToo case in China.
