Bae Suzy graced the cover of Marie Claire magazine's April issue and talked about the release of her latest song, "Satellite." With a new track and a possible return to the small screen, it looks like the 27-year-old star has finally returned to the business.

Suzy dropped "Satellite" last month, four years after her previous song release. Also, she may soon be seen back on TV with the new Netflix K-drama, The Girl Downstairs.

In the snaps obtained by AllKpop, the singer sported cute bangs that perfectly fit her fresh spring look. She showed off her chic but sophisticated style by wearing a white blouse paired with a denim skirt and black boots.

Of course, she also displayed her incredible charm by wearing colorful outfits. Meanwhile, in the accompanying interview, she revealed her latest song release is about the "process of finding what you like."

As one of the song's writers, she wanted to capture a mood instead of a "clear and distinct message." So, she thought about the things around her but couldn't be reached, like a satellite.

In addition, Suzy Bae also talked about the song's music video featuring the "Street Woman Fighter" dancer Monica. The actress revealed Monica was like her muse after seeing her dance.

"It's difficult to improvise the whole song, but she danced differently every time," she explained. With that said, she found it hard to choose a cut the dance, but it was the best way to express the song.

Meanwhile, NME reported the "Start-Up" star might return to the small screen to lead the new K-drama series "The Girl Downstairs" on Netflix. Lee Jung Hyo will reportedly direct the show.

In a statement to Newsen, as translated by Soompi, Suzy Bae's agency, Management Soop, revealed its talent indeed received an offer to make a TV adaptation of the webtoon by Min Son Ah with the same title.

It tells the story of a former K-pop idol Lee Doo Na, who works with a first-year college student Lee Won Joon. Lee Doo Na used to be the vocalist of the fictional girl group Dream Sweet, but she decided to retire and continue her studies and become a theatre and film student.

However, it's yet to reveal if Netflix will continue its original plot. If Suzy Bae accepts this role, this will be the first time she will do a new TV project after two years.
