Lee Min Ho graced the covers of Dazed Korea and talked about his new TV series, "Pachinko," on Apple TV+. From a costly production to a classic theme, the actor seems to be in awe to be part of this big project.

Lee Min Ho is once again gaining traction for playing the role of Go Han Soo in "Pachinko." With a production cost of about 100 billion KRW or $82.1 million and telling a strong of an immigrant family over four generations, it is now dubbed a groundbreaking drama in Hollywood.

In fact, it is now considered one of the masterpieces, thanks to its stellar cast and incredible storyline. So, what could the 34-year-old actor say about it?

The K-drama actor himself was surprised to see the scale of the series' set in Canada, AllKpop noted. People behind the show managed to create a Korean fish market during the colonial period in a foreign country.

They even used live and fresh seafood, making him realize how meticulous the crew was when it came to details. They even had psychology experts to help them with some of the most intimate scenes, proving the show was on a different level.

Lee Min Ho also discussed the unfamiliar position of a showrunner, who oversees the work's production, and the collaboration with Soo Hugh. He said the latter had a "strong determination to improve the quality of this work," so they all got a lot of energy working with her.

The talks and scenes even make him and her comfortable with each other like friends. In addition, he revealed he could relate to and understand other characters in the story when he read the script.

In fact, this even helped him to change his attitude toward this work. "We did our best not just to make a good result, but to portray this deep story well.

Meanwhile, aside from "Pachinko," Lee Min Ho has another new project. He will be starring with Gong Hyo Jin in the K-drama "Ask the Stars," per Soompi.

It is a romantic-comedy series featuring an astronaut and a tourist who meet and fall in love at a space station. Director Park Shin Woo, who is behind "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" and "Lovestruck in the City," will help the new series, while writer Seo Sook Hyang, who wrote "Don't Dare to Dream (Jealousy Incarnate) and "Pasta," will write the script.

Lee Min Ho will play the role of the OB-GYN Gong Ryong, while Gong Hyo Jin is the Korean-American astronaut Eve Kim. "Ask the Stars" will be out in 2023, while "Pachinko" airs every Friday on Apple TV+.
