Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin are now back in South Korea. The two arrived at the Incheon International Airport on Thursday, April 28, after spending their honeymoon in the U.S. for about two weeks.
Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin left the country on April 11 after tying the knot on March 31. They were often spotted going out and about abroad, from enjoying eating at a restaurant to watching the NBA.
AllKpop noted the 39-year-old actor first met the awaiting fans and reporters at the airport. He was followed by his wife and together, they briefly greeted everyone and posed in front of the cameras.
In the U.S., they were seen enjoying watching the NBA game between the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday, April 26, a couple of days before they returned home, at Barclays Center in New York City.
They were also spotted eating at a restaurant in New York City and watching the musical "Hamilton" on Broadway, per Manila Bulletin.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin announced their engagement on February 10 and confirmed they were about to get married in March. The two had been in a relationship for more than a year.
In a post on Instagram, the "Thirty-Nine" star said she thought long and hard about sharing this story with everyone, considering it was an important matter for her. She said she had found someone to spend the rest of her life with.
"Yes...it's him," confirming it was Hyun Bin. She added that they promised to build a future together after they met. Everything just happened naturally and she called it destiny.
Alternatively, the K-drama actor revealed he made an important decision to get married and carefully step into "the second act" of his life. He said he made a promise with his now-wife, describing her as someone who always made him smile, and asked her to "walk through the days that lied ahead together."
On their wedding day, Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin exchanged sweet messages at the ceremony. The then-bride greeted her groom and confessed she could not believe they were already getting married.
In his response, the "Secret Garden" star asked her to know and understand each other more and enjoy every moment together, laugh a lot and be grateful for everything.
