Kim Seon Ho finally broke his silence after admitting to forcing his ex-girlfriend to have an abortion. The "Hometown Cha Cha Cha" star gave fans an update on Instagram and his official fan café, hinting at his possible return.

Kim Seon Ho wrote a lengthy letter to his fans. Though he admitted he didn't know how to write the letter, thinking it was already too late, fans still accepted him warmly.

AllKpop noted that he started his letter by saying it felt like summer already and how time flew really fast. For him, sometimes a month felt like a year, while he couldn't follow up with the time that had passed him by every so often, making it hard for him to manage his emotions.

He added fans had gone through the same because of him and from there, he apologized that he had made them go through a hard time due to his shortfalls. "I know how hard it is to heal after getting heartbroken," he continued.

Kim Seon Ho sincerely apologized to everyone who supported him, fearing that what happened might have scarred their hearts. He then thanked his fans as he is now mending slowly.

Though he was cynical about how the public would perceive his letter, he hoped people still rooted for him would understand. The 36-year-old star then hinted at his return when he said he would be cherishing every single one of his fans' supportive messages from Korea and abroad so that he could become a better actor and a person.

"Thank you for staying by my side and I won't leave you waiting too long," he concluded.

It has been about seven months since the controversy involving Kim Seo Ho's ex-girlfriend emerged, per Korea Times. In his post on Instagram, he also said sorry to his fans and thanked them for celebrating his birthday on May 8.

His fans donated 10 million won or $7,900 to the charity organization Community Chest of Korea to celebrate his special day.

Meanwhile, Kim Seon Ho got embroiled in a huge controversy after his ex-girlfriend revealed he had forced her to have an abortion when they were still dating. The K-drama star admitted to the ordeal and apologized, saying she should have said sorry to her in person.

He also apologized for failing everyone who had been supporting him. Sadly, amid the controversy, Kim Seon Ho was removed from the KBS show, "Two Days and One Night," among other projects.
