"One Piece" Chapter 1049 will be finally out this weekend and the spoilers are now circulating online. As the battle between Kaido and Luffy continues, fans are about to see the much-awaited glimpse of the Beast Pirates leader's past.
The fight between Kaido and Luffy is now on another level and it is expected that there will be an incredible shift in tone happening. There are theories that Eiichiro Oda has taken inspiration from Indian Hanuman and "One Piece" Chapter 1049 will prove true.
Titled "The World We Should Aspira To," the new chapter's cover story features someone burning Niji and Yonji's book, where they were trapped.

Recent Highlights noted that most chapters cover Kaido's past and how he met Whitebeard. Kaido lives in the Vodka Kingdom, where the King tried to sell him to Marines several times.
He tried to escape from them repeatedly and even rampaged in Hachinosu. A young Whitebeard then appears and invites him to meet Rocks D Xebec.
The pages also show Kaido and King's conversation. He tells the King that he knows Joy Boy, the only individual who will put him down.
The scene then returns to the current timeline, showing Kaido's flame clouds are starting to disappear in "One Piece" Chapter 1049. This begins to happen after he receives a strong punch from Luffy.
The spoilers also show how Momonosuke tries to make flame clouds to maintain holding Onigashima up to save the people below and on the island.
Sports Keeda added that the next chapter seems to hint at the end of Kaido and Luffy's fight. Allegedly, their bout will end on that "big punch."
But aside from the possible end of their battle, another highlight that fans are about to see is how Momo will finally learn to create his own flame clouds.
This is a necessary character development that fans have wanted to see for a long time. Momo is about to prove that he is indeed a hero who wants to save everyone, just like his father, Oden.
By the looks of it, the upcoming chapter will be the end of the Onigashima Raid and Wano arc as a whole. However, there is still a possibility that this will not be the case.
With the start of featuring Kaido's backstory, fans are about to see what really happened to his life in the past. All these and more are about to be seen when "One Piece" Chapter 1049 drops on Sunday, May 15.
