Police have arrested an Arby's fast-food restaurant manager, who was caught on video urinating into a container of milkshake mix. The manager, who has been charged with the possession of child pornography, reportedly urinated on the milkshake mix for his own "sexual gratification."
The night manager was initially tracked down by police after he was caught downloading child pornography. Investigators tracked down the man, 29-year-old Stephen Sharp, who was living in Vancouver, Washington. Sharp allegedly downloaded dozens of photos and videos depicting the exploitation of young children. He reportedly even downloaded some of them while he was at work on at least one occasion.
A warrant for his arrest and the search of his personal computer was then issued. Sharp admitted to downloading the distributing the child pornography, but one of the videos that police found on his computer was also equally disturbing.
In one video, Sharp was shown to have urinated on a container of Arby's milkshake mix before it was used by the restaurant to make the establishment's popular milkshake drinks. Sharp admitted to police of having urinated in the container "at least twice."
Based on the video stamp on the video found on Sharp's device, the particular Arby's restaurant had served at least one ice cream float and around 40 milkshakes during that day. Authorities said the milkshake served to customers may have been tainted by Sharp's urine even though he claimed to have been "almost sure" that he had thrown out the container after urinating inside it.
Vancouver police are asking customers who were unlucky enough to purchase an Arby's milkshake between Oct. 30 and Oct. 31 to come forward with their receipts if possible. Authorities said the incident occurred inside the Arby's located at 221 Northeast 104th Ave. Witnesses who had interacted with Sharp during those days have been asked to contact the police immediately.
Authorities said they believe none of the other employees were aware of Sharp's activities, and no other warrants or charges have been filed. Police are still combing through Sharp's videos on his computer and mobile devices, including a library of videos he took of himself.
Sharp has already been charged with four counts of possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and another four counts of dealing with depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. It is not yet clear if Sharp would be facing other charges related to him urinating on the restaurant's milkshake mix.
