Girls' Generation's comeback is now the talk of the town and Hyoyeon reveals how the girls are preparing for their much-awaited return. In an appearance on the SBS Power FM "Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time" radio show, she reveals their preparations and talks about her mini-album, "DEEP."

News about Girls' Generation's comeback broke on Tuesday, May 17. Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun will again perform together and drop a new album to celebrate their 15th anniversary.

AllKpop noted Hyoyeon revealed she really wanted to share the news of their comeback but couldn't do so. So, she waited for the news to be out.

The 32-year-old star added she even kept it a secret and hid it from her parents. Now that SM Entertainment officially announced their return, she could finally talk about it.

She then revealed the Girls' Generation members had been preparing for their reunion. The girls even meet often to prepare for their return.

Hyoyeon also promoted her mini-album on the show. "DEEP" dropped on May 16 with a single of the same title. The song is an EDM dance genre, exploring complicated emotions that get tangled.

Aside from Hyoyeon, Sooyoung also got the public's attention when she visited the SM company building because of the hat she donned. She posted a photo of herself on her Instagram story with smiley and heart emoticons.

In the snap, she could be seen wearing a hoodie and blue baseball cap with the phrase, "I don't work here." The image quickly circulated online due to Girls' Generation's impending return.

Fans and netizens alike felt ecstatic about the comeback and talked about it in an online community. Some said Sooyoung visited SM to work on the group's return, while others described her hat as hilarious and sensible.

Taeyeon, YoonA, Yuri, Sunny and Hyoyeon renewed their contract with SM, while Sooyoung, Seohyun and Tiffany moved to another agency.

Meanwhile, Girls' Generation is now gearing up for their return as a full group, per Soompi. SM announced they would be dropping a new album in August to mark their 15th year in the business after debuting in 2007.

The girls' last album released was "Holiday Night" in August 2017. So, this would be the first time they would be working again together with all eight members after five years.

Aside from the upcoming album, Girls' Generation is also set to greet their fans through different TV programs and their own reality show.
