BLACKPINK's Jennie's fan club, Jennie Global Union, released an official statement about the dating rumors surrounding her, involving BTS's V. As HYBE and YG Entertainment remain mum about it, the female K-pop star's supporters will take some action.

Jennie Global Union claimed the dating rumors marring the two K-pop idols are getting out of hand. In fact, it is said to be "spreading indiscriminately," ruining Jennie's image.

In the statement, via AllKpop, they noticed the involved companies are yet to release official statements to address the issue, resulting in a "very foul impression" toward the 26-year-old idol. They claimed the media, fans and non-fans with "ill intentions" are now doing online activities that negatively affect the public's opinion toward the female rapper.

With that said, they plan to take action with YG against the individuals who spread "malicious and underground false information" about their idol. It even noted the company's statement earlier this year that it would track those who issued defamation against its artists.

So, with the rampant dating rumors, the group would collect posts about the matter that portrayed Jennie negatively without any evidence.

V and Jennie's dating rumor began when a netizen posted a photo of them together. Though it was not confirmed if the picture was real or not, the individuals in it exactly looked like them.

The image was reportedly taken on Jeju Island, where they were allegedly seen together. In fact, an alleged airline employee revealed she saw the two traveling together on the same flight going to Jeju Island.

BTimes Online recently reported that the said employee posted on the Korean social networking app for the workplace, Blind, to reveal her claim. She was said to be working on the Korean budget airline T'way and she was on duty when they saw them together.

She even revealed that many of her co-workers also caught them and thought they were publicly dating after being seen out in the open. They, allegedly, traveled on a business class seat, ordered a snack and even asked for extra blankets.

The flight in question was said to happen on Saturday, May 21, at 1:05 p.m. with flight number TW717. The plane departed Gimpo airport and landed at Jeju International airport on the same day, around 2:15 p.m. If it was real, it supported the timeline when the viral photo was out, which was on Sunday, May 22, a day after Jennie and V, allegedly, arrived on Jeju Island.
